Road Conditions & More

Weather can change in a hurry in the high Sierras. Be prepared! Don’t get stuck in an area with no cell phone reception to call for help. Be sure to fuel up at Bassett’s Station and stock up on the following essentials: extra water, snacks, warm clothing layers, first aid kit, detailed map, chains or snow tires (depending on season), shovel, flashlight, and emergency roadside supplies. ALWAYS check weather conditions before heading out and inform someone of your travel plans. Stay safe!
