Bassett’s Station has a Personal Weather Station (PWS)…

and is a member of the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP).

Our current weather station conditions can be viewed at WeatherUnderground.

Bassett’s weather station info is sent every 10 minutes to a FindU server which in turn reports weather info to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest Systems or NOAA MADIS servers every 5 minutes. MADIS is used by meteorologists to help forecast the weather.
